TAMPA, Fla. – The Franklin Manor, Pied Piper Productions and The Nocturnal Group are teaming up to host Tampa’s first-ever Halloween block party, which is scheduled to kick off on Saturday, Oct. 28 at the block between Tyler St. and Cass St. on Franklin St.
The inaugural A Nightmare on Franklin Street block party, is scheduled to be held on Oct. 28 from 8 p.m. until Oct. 29 at 3 a.m., and is expected to be the largest Halloween event in the area. The event will feature three stages for live musical performances and DJs, upscale drink service, professional decor and the area’s biggest costume contest, with $15,000 in prizes.
The costume contest will include prizes for the top 10 sexiest costumes, best male costume, best group costume and best couple’s costume. A total of $11,000 in cash will be given away to contest winners who participate in the event and an optional calendar shoot. Additional prizes will include a $1,000 bar tab at the Franklin Manor and a custom Halloween art piece from Art by Vahl valued at $3,000.
“For over a decade, Pied Piper and Nocturnal have been treating our beloved city to the most extravagant Halloween parties around Tampa Bay, and this year will be the best yet,” said David Anderson, owner of The Franklin Manor & The Nocturnal Group. “We’re elevating our guest’s party experience by moving Pied Piper’s massive annual Halloween party, which was held at Jacksons the past 14 years, to an entire city block in front of the Franklin Manor. This is the spot to celebrate Halloween.”
Ticket pricing for the event starts at $10 and will increase throughout the month. Military guests and first responders will be granted 50 percent off the entry fee from 8-9 p.m. the night of the event. For tables and private areas, call or text 813.786.1300.
